Privacy Policy

TubeMax is an API Client that uses YouTube API Services. By using TubeMax, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Your use of TubeMax is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

• Google account profile data used for sign-in, such as name, email address, and Google account identifier.
• YouTube API Data you authorize or request TubeMax to retrieve, such as channel information, playlists, playlist items, videos you have liked on YouTube where the API exposes that signal, subscriptions, video IDs, video titles, channel names, thumbnails, durations, categories, statistics, and search results.
• TubeMax account data, including email sign-in records, profile settings, interests, saved videos, favorites, bookmarks, tags, notes, playlists, watch progress, in-app history, preferences, device-linking state, and community/social activity you create in TubeMax.
• Operational data such as session identifiers, IP address, user agent, quota usage, request timing, error logs, security events, and admin audit records.

• Authenticate users and maintain secure sessions.
• Retrieve YouTube API Data at your request and display it in TubeMax.
• Build recommendation, search, organization, learning, and playlist features inside TubeMax.
• Track YouTube API quota usage, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, operate security controls, and maintain the service.
• Process account export and deletion requests.

TubeMax does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by internal systems and service providers used to operate TubeMax, such as hosting, databases, Redis/session storage, email delivery, logging, maps, and security tooling. When TubeMax retrieves YouTube API Data on your behalf, or loads the YouTube embedded player to play a video, your requests and interactions are sent to Google/YouTube and are subject to their privacy practices. Google/YouTube may serve YouTube video content and any advertisements provided through the official YouTube embedded player; TubeMax does not control those YouTube-served advertisements. Content you publish to TubeMax community features or shared playlists may be visible to other users according to the sharing options you choose.

• TubeMax does not serve third-party advertisements alongside YouTube API Data within TubeMax.
• TubeMax does not use YouTube API Data for targeted advertising.
• TubeMax does not use YouTube API Data to train or build machine-learning or generative-AI models.
• TubeMax does not knowingly collect Sensitive User Data (such as race, religion, sexual orientation, or health information) through YouTube API Services.
• TubeMax does not download, re-host, or provide offline playback of YouTube audiovisual content, and does not modify, replace, interfere with, or block advertisements served by the YouTube player.

TubeMax stores, accesses, or recognizes information on your device or browser through cookies, session cookies, local storage, IndexedDB, service-worker caches, and similar browser technologies. These technologies keep you signed in, remember preferences, support offline/PWA behavior, cache app assets, link devices, and improve reliability.

TubeMax keeps account and application data while your account is active or as needed to operate the service. Stored YouTube API Data is refreshed at least every 30 days from YouTube API Services, or otherwise deleted from TubeMax. You can export or delete your TubeMax account data from TubeMax settings at any time. You can also revoke TubeMax's access to your Google and YouTube data through your Google security settings page. If you revoke TubeMax's access, or delete your TubeMax account, TubeMax will delete the YouTube API Data it has stored about you within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you within TubeMax. Continued use of TubeMax after an update means you accept the revised policy.
